Outdoor Education

At Anglesea PS we make use of our beautiful grounds, including the Imaginative Play Space, which provide outdoor learning opportunities. We also provide a comprehensive Outdoor Education Program for students in Grade 3-6.

• Grade 3 students participate in a 6 week ‘About Anglesea’ program to learn about nature in the school grounds, at nearby Coogoorah Park and also Pt Roadknight Beach.
• Grade 4 students participate in a 6 week ‘Bike Education program at school, concluding with the ‘Tour de Anglesea’ bike ride about the town with assistance from parents and staff from Camp Wilkin.
• Grade 5 students participate in a 6 week ‘Initiative/Team building’ program at YMCA Camp.
• Grade 6 students participate in a 6 week ‘Learn to Surf’ program at Main Beach.
